Re-Introducing Easy Taxi

Some of you if not all must have come across Easy Taxi app while surfing the net but here is the full gist, Easy Taxi is a FREE Smartphone application that allows you to request a 'taxi' or ‘car hire’ directly from your phone.

The application uses GPS to choose the closest available driver to you, so you will never have to wait long. It also allows you to track the driver’s location on your map in real time. Most important, it is SAFE! Easy Taxi collects all of the driver’s information and sends you a picture of the driver picking you up, a description of the car you should expect and the car license plate number, all in the application!

UK rapper, Chip formerly known as Chipmunk arrived Lagos for the first time yesterday ahead of Ice Prince’s Fire Of Zamani concert. The Champion hit maker who featured on the track Mercy will be performing for at least 15 mins at the concert which will take place at Eko Hotel & Suites by 7pm today. Other artistes expected to perform at the concert include Modenine, Olamide, Phyno, Ice Prince and many more. Heard wale will not be able to make the trip.

Businessman Jim Ovia Set To Build the Biggest Mall in Nigeria and Africa

Nigerian banker Jim Ovia founded Zenith Bank Group, one of Nigeria's largest financial services groups, with a market capitalization of more than $4 billion. He is the bank's largest individual shareholder, with a 9% stake. He owns dozens of prime properties in pricey Nigerian neighborhoods like Victoria Island and Ikoyi. Ovia also runs Visafone, a mobile telecoms outfit.

According to the latest gist, the next in line to be built on the same axis not far from one of his properties -the Civic center, is a 5-star hotel, the hotel is most likely going to be called the Lagos Marriot or Marriot Hotel, Lagos, which we hear would give all other hotels on the island and by extension Lagos a run for its money. One of the unique features of the upcoming Marriot Hotel from the gist we could gather is the super sized, super luxurious event center that would be built in it. The idea is that the Civic center is too small for some types of events, so the need to build a bigger more prestigious event venue.

Plenty of things had been said about it all over the news and social media. One of those things said was that the occasion was going to be chaired by one of Nigeria's richest men, in the person of Otunba Mike Adenuga, though he didn't attend at the end of it all, but was ably represented by the MD of Glo. Another thing spoken about was the preparation for the engagement, the cost of the aso-ebi, the guest-lists and much more. Finally the event has come & gone and it didn't disappoint.

The body of 26 year old Adaobi Michaella Obih (pictured above) was found on Tuesday Nov. 19th at an apartment at Riverstone Apartments in Columbus, Indiana. Her death is being investigated as a homicide.

A spokesman for the Columbus Police Department said her neighbour, 36 year old Ryan Allen Klug, (pictured above) is a person of interest in the case. Ryan also lived in the apartment complex but has gone missing since Adaobi's body was found.

The Columbus Police have not revealed how and why Adaobi was killed but they're currently seeking the public’s help in locating Ryan Klug.

Adaobi was the first of two children and was already pursuing her PHD in Electrical Engineering at just 26 years old.May her soul rest in peace...Amen.
