The 2011 Best of Nollywood (BON) Awards will take place on Friday 11th November 2011. For this year’s edition of the awards, there are 28 outstanding categories and nominees were selected from over 190 movies submitted for this year’s event. The 2011 BON Awards will be hosted by comedian Tee-A & actress Ini Edo – both stars have promised to thrill the audience at the event.
Funmi Adeyina – Brand Manager BON , disclosed that a “nominee reading drive” will kick-off this year’s BON Awards. The Nominee Reading Initiative will take the various nominees to various schools and give them an opportunity to interact with promising young Nigerians, read with them and advice them on the importance of education.
