Nigeria tops Channel O awards with 18 nominations

As the organisers of the annual Channel O Music Video Awards announces this year’s nominees’ list, Nigeria takes top spot with 18 nominations.

With Ice Prince, Flavour, Whizkid, D’Banj, Tiwa Savage, Banky W and 2Face taking the front row, the country is set to conquer the continent once more.
Other Nigerian musicians who registered their names on the nomination list include Samklef J. Martins D-Black featuring Cryme, Darey, Waje and Naeto C.
This year, the public-voted awards see a massive 10 videos in contention for the hugely prestigious Most Gifted Video of the Year award – ensuring it’s a tough choice for fans.
